The Podcast Metrics Lineups feature is not available to all Podcast Metrics users.
Use Manage Lineup to create and mange lineups of podcasts so you can share their download and listener data with buyers and agencies. When you create a lineup, you can choose who to share it with, and you are presented with a preview of the data for the previous four weeks. Planners, buyers, and agencies who access your lineup in Lineup Explore can access all available data (going back up to one year) and can create filtered reports breaking the data down by date and across several dimensions.
Creating a Lineup
Go to Manage Lineup (https://settings.tritondigital.com/#/metrics/lineup/manage) to create a new lineup that you can share with buyers or agencies.
To create a new lineup:
- Click Create in the Select Lineup section at the top of the page.
If you are currently working on another lineup; be sure to save your changes before you click Create! - Give your lineup a name.
Maximum 32 characters. Do not use special characters; just numbers, letters, and spaces. Tip: make the lineup name short and descriptive. - (Optional) Edit your lineup's short name. The short name is automatically created from the full name, but you can change it if you wish.
Between six and eight characters. Do not use special characters or spaces; just numbers and letters ("-" and "_" permitted). The short name must be unique within the entire Triton Explore system. (You are warned if the short name you choose is already in use.) - (Optional) Add a short description of the lineup.
Maximum 256 characters. The description is shared with the lineup; it is useful for describing the contents of the lineup or for providing other details. - Add content: click Add Itemsin the Content selection area to open the Content Filter and add publishers, markets, or programs to your lineup.
- If you select a publisher or market, all programs in that publisher or market are added to your lineup.
- Use the Search tool to as a filter if you have many programs listed.
- You can select multiple items, both within a category (Publisher/Market/Program) and across categories. As you select items they are added to the Selected list. You can remove an item from the Selected list by clicking its "x."
- Click Apply or Apply and Run. These items work the same way as they do in Lineup Explore.
- (Optional) Select the Main iTunes category from the drop-down list.
Including an iTunes category helps third-parties find the lineup when searching the lineups list. The categories list comes from Apple, with the addition of the "Various" item which can be used when you want to put something in this field but your lineup includes a mix of categories. - Add shares: click Add Shares to open the Lineup Shares Filter panel, where you choose which organizations will have access to your lineup, including agency stewardship. Click Apply in the Lineup Shares panel after making your selections.
- (Optional.) Specify countries for each organization's share. For example, if you only want to share U.S. lineup data with a specific organization, select United States in that organization's Countries field. Leave this field empty to share lineup data for all countries. (See "Usage Notes: Using the Countries filter," below.)
- (Optional) Enter the Sales Representation information. This appears on the Lineup Explore report if you select the corresponding dimensions

Usage Notes
- Using the Countries filter:
- If no countries are specified in the Countries filter, then available data from all countries is shared in the lineup.
- The "4 Weeks Preview" that appears at the bottom of your lineup does not show data filtered by country; to see the filtered data you need to view your lineup in Lineup Explore.
- Only the organization defined in the share will see the data filtered by the selected countries. In other words, the same lineup will show different data to different organizations depending on how their share is defined with Country filters.
- When the publisher who creates a lineup views the lineup in Lineup Explore, they see the data from all countries because they are not seeing it from the point of view of a "share" organization.
- Agency Stewardship:
- Triton Digital partners with Strata Marketing (Freewheel) to provide agency stewardship of shared lineups.
- The following information is shared with Strata:
- Lineup Name
- Lineup Short Name
- Main iTunes Category
- Sales Representation Name.
- To enable Strata in Manage Lineups, please speak with your Triton Digital Publisher Development Manager (PDM). You must also have a Strata account with Freewheel.
- For more information on agency stewardships, see the Knowledge Base article Understanding Lineups and Stewardships.
Updating a Lineup
You can update the name of a lineup, and its items.
To update a lineup:
- Select the lineup from the Select a lineup field.
- Make whatever changes you wish. For example, you can edit the name, or add or delete items and shares, and edit the shares' Countries settings.
- Click "Edit" to add another share.
- Click a country's "x" to remove that country's data from the share.
- Click "Delete" to remove the share.
- Click Update to save the changes.
Warning Messages
When your lineup is correctly set up, a checkmark icon appears on the right side of the page.
You might occasionally see a warning icon instead. Click the warning icon to see a message describing the warning:
Warnings typically appear when there is an issue with an organization or a station, such as if a station is no longer active. Use the warning message to determine the problem, then resolve it.
If you update a lineup without specifically addressing a warning message, Lineups will try to resolve the issue by overriding it. For example, if the problem is caused by a station becoming inactive, Lineups removes the inactive station when you save the lineup update and click Yes to the override confirmation message.
- Click "Update" after making changes.
- This warning appears if there is a problem that you did not resolve with your update.
- Click "Yes" to let Lineups resolve the problem (e.g., by removing an inactive station). Click "No" to cancel the update.
