Every campaign and flight must be associated with an advertiser. Advertisers are unique to each organization.
Typically, you should have only one advertiser record for each advertiser you deal with. If you have duplicate records for the same advertiser it can reduce the efficiency of your workflow. For example, if you want to view all campaigns by a specific advertiser, you can't do so if the advertiser has two records in the system with some campaigns assigned to one record and other assigned to the other record. This can also reduce the efficiency of reporting, as you will have to produce separate reports for each version of the advertiser in your records.
There are two entry points for creating a new advertiser:
On the TAP sidebar, select Advertisers, then select + New advertiser in the Advertisers work area:
When creating a campaign, click Create an advertiser in the Advertiser (required) section:
Once you are on the New advertiser panel, the steps for creating an advertiser are the same regardless of how you arrived there.
