Programmatic Deals are specific arrangements that publishers or ad networks make with buyers. Bids may be won based on the specifics outlined in the deal and not just on price alone.

TAP Programmatic replaces Yield-Op for programmatic advertising with Triton Digital.

To use Programmatic Deals, you need:

Automatic Archiving of Inactive Deals

TAP Programmatic archives deals that have been inactive for one month. It does this to prioritize active deals and to make the marketplace more efficient. This archiving takes place on the first Monday of the month.

You can see archiving operations in the deal’s audit log.

Deals Migrated from Yield-Op

Existing deals in Yield-Op are migrated to TAP by Triton Digital as part of the rollout of this feature. Here's what you can expect after the migration:

  • When the deals appear in TAP they will adopt TAP's targeting language.

  • Deals are no longer available for viewing or editing in Yield-Op. The Yield-Op deals page will alert you than the deals have been migrated.

  • In order to access the deals in TAP, a user needs to exist as a Yield-Op user and have a Programmatic role in TAP.

  • If you do not see the Programmatic section in TAP it usually means your TAP user profile does not yet include a Programmatic role. Speak with your TAP administrator about adding this to your profile.

  • If you see the message "Error loading deals" on the Deals page, it usually means your user profile does not include a Yield-Op user account.
