You can use Omny Studio to distribute automatically distribute your podcasts with Apple Podcasts:
Publish your Omny premium content to Apple Podcast Subscriptions. You will have to continue to use Apple Podcasts Connect to set up and manage your Apple Subscriptions.
Publish video clips in Omny to HLS (HTTP live streaming) Video in Apple Podcasts.
To publish non-premium content with Apple Podcasts, see Submit a Non-Premium Content to Apple Podcasts.
Create and update your content only in Omny Studio
Do not make changes to your content in Apple Podcasts Connect because it could be overwritten by Omny Studio.
Requirements
To submit premium content or HLS Video to Apple Podcasts, you must connect your Omny content to Apple Podcasts. For details, see Get Started with Apple Podcasts.
Submit a Playlist for Premium Content or HLS Video
You can submit an Omny playlist for premium content in Apple Podcasts Subscriptions and for streaming HLS video in Apple Podcasts.
To submit it playlist, you need to add at least one clip to it. You only need to submit an Omny playlist once.
When submitting an Omny playlist, Omny also creates a matching show in Apple Podcasts Connects for you. Any uploads and other updates that you make in Omny Studio appear automatically in the Apple Podcasts show.
If you have already created an Apple Podcasts show for your Omny playlist, do not submit it. Instead, you can claim your podcast in Apple Podcasts Connect. See Claim an Existing Show in Apple Podcast Connect.
If you haven’t already, create a new program and a playlist for it. See Create a Program.
Record, upload, and edit clips for your playlist. See Set up Live Recordings and Upload and Edit Clips.
Set up the visibility of your clips for ad-free, early access, and bonus episodes. See Set up Clips for Apple Subscriber Benefits.
In your playlist’s Details tab, choose a Publishing setting then select Save changes. You cannot distribute the playlist if its Publishing setting is Private. See Set up Clips for Apple Subscriber Benefits.
In your playlist’s Details tab, select Apple Podcasts.
Select Create show in Apple Podcasts.
In Create show, select Create to confirm that there isn’t already an Apple Podcasts show for your Omny playlist.
For HLS video streaming: In Apple Podcasts video, select Enable to stream HLS video with Apple Podcasts. Then in Apple Podcasts video terms and conditions, select Accept and enable Apple Podcasts video to confirm.
For premium content: Log into your Apple Podcasts Connect account to set up the subscription benefits for your new show. For details, see Set up a show subscription.
