Packages are created by ad networks to package publishers’ inventory and make it available to any TAP Programmatic-connected DSP, through deals.
Ad networks must create and then activate a package, at which point it is exposed to publishers and they decide if they want to opt-in.
The publisher must "opt in" to one or more packages in order for the publisher’s inventory to be included in packages.
Once an ad network has created a package and made it available for opting-in, they cannot change the terms of the package. They can, however, remove the package from their list of offered packages. Also, a publisher opting-in to a package does not guarantee the publisher will receive revenue from the package.
