Editing Creative in Flights

The items below guide you through some of the useful features you can use when editing creative in flights using the Triton Creative Manager

To swap the live audio creative for another audio creative

You can swap the live audio creative for another audio creative at any time.

To swap (replace) an ad’s audio file for another audio file:

  1. In the flight’s Creative section, select Edit ads.

  2. Select the Ad unit for the audio file that you want to swap out.

  3. In the ad unit Overview tab (on the right) select:

    • Replace from creative library to use an audio file that is already in the Creative Library.

    • Replace media to upload a new audio file from your computer.

  4. Click Save and publish.
The audio file is replaced effective immediately. Banners and tracking pixels are unaffected. Before saving, you have the option of reverting to the previous media.

To swap the banner creative for another banner creative

You can swap an ad unit’s banner before or after the creative is published.

To swap (replace) an ad unit’s banner for another banner:

  1. In the flight’s Creative section, select Edit ads.

  2. In the Edit ads window, select the Ad unit for the banner you want to change.

  3. Go to the Banners tab.

  4. Select:

    • Replace from creative library to use a banner file that is already in the Creative Library.

    • Replace image to upload a new banner file from your computer.

  5. If needed, update the click-through link and any tracking pixels.

  6. (Optional.) Update the Banner name. (If the original banner name was taken from the banner image file name, the banner name is not updated when you swap in a new image. The banner name is just a label; it does not necessarily reflect the file name of the image banner in use.)

  7. Click Save and publish.

To add another creative to an ad that already contains creative

You can add more creative audio files to the existing ad group (such as when you want to apply weighted or sequential distribution) or add more creative audio files to a new ad group (when you want to apply different targeting rules to the creatives in each group).

You can quickly add a copy of an existing ad group or ad unit, or you can build out a new ad unit as described below.

To add another creative audio file to the existing ad group:

  1. In the flight’s Creative section, click Edit ads.

  2. In the existing ad group, select New ad unit.

  3. In the group overview panel, use the Upload box to upload new audio, or click Select from creative library to choose an existing audio in this advertiser’s creative library.

  4. Once the new audio is in place, you can add banners and tracking pixels, and apply distribution settings if you wish.

  5. Click Save and publish.

To add another creative audio file to a new ad group:

  1. In the flight’s Creative section, click Edit ads.

  2. In the existing ad group, select New group.

  3. Select New ad unit in the new group to upload new creative or select from the creative library.

  4. Add any desired banners and tracking pixels to the new ad unit.

  5. Select the new group, and in the group overview panel, create any group targeting rules you wish to apply, or distribution rules if you’ve added more than one ad unit to the new group.

  6. When finished, click Save and publish.

Tip: When adding another audio creative, the durations of both creatives must be in the same assigned duration range. For more information see Creative Duration Notes.

To remove an audio creative from the Creative Library

You can remove audio files in the creative library. Note that you cannot rename audio files (but you can rename banner files).

To completely remove an audio file from the Creative Library:

  1. Go to the Creative Library:

    • If your flight already has creative, click Ed ads in the Creative section, then click New ad unit in the Edit ads panel and click Select from creative library.

    • If your flight does not have creative assigned, click Select from the creative library in the Creative section.

  2. In the Creative Library, select the file you wish to remove.

  3. Click Delete Audio.
The audio file is removed from the Creative Library; if you click Cancel to exit the Creative Library after deleting an audio file, the file is not restored.
