This Section describes the validation tests that are conducted by Triton Digital when on-boarding DSPs to use the Triton Digital ad exchange.
These tests include:
- Functional tests run in Triton Digital's test environment. (Details.)
- End-to-end test in Triton Digital's production environment, using inventory from a fully functional but non-broadcasting pseudo station.
- Load test in Triton Digital's production environment in "test mode," in which the DSP receives inventory from real stations, bid responses are processed, but the DSP cannot actually win the auction. Once the load test is successful, the DSP is switched from "test mode" to "operational mode."Warning! At this point the DSP is live and will be invoiced for all impressions.
- Live campaign test. This usually involves trafficking a small-budget PSA; typically $100 value using a $5 CPM to capture at least 20,000 impressions. This test includes a discrepancy check in which the impressions and media cost as recorded by Triton Digital and the DSP are compared to ensure they match.
Each test might be run one or more times.
