Functional Tests

Prev Next

Triton Digital runs a series of tests when on-boarding a DSP to ensure the integration works as expected. The tests rely on a set of campaigns that the DSP must set up and run on their end.

Supply and Demand Details

We use 2 different sites under the same test publisher for functional testing - details are shown below in "Supply details".

The DSP under test needs to set up two campaigns, "A" and "B". Both campaigns should target the test supply, Campaign A bids on the open marketplace (no deal ID) while campaign B bids on the "TEST-DEAL" deal ID. Further differences between the two campaigns are shown below in "Demand details"

Tests

The grid below shows the arrangement of the functional tests.
The tests are automated, only the bid request and win notice are fired, no impression or billing notice is fired.

Triton Digital reports back to the DSP when the tests are completed. We might have to run the test several times, if errors occur.
