The Explore modules of Triton Metrics (Webcast Explore, Podcast Explore, TAP Explore, etc.) let you save your queries for later use, and even schedule them to run automatically.
Saved queries appear on the Saved Queries list.

The Save Query form appears. - Enter a name for the query. (See the naming tip, below.)

Scheduling and Emailing Reports
Once a query is saved, it can be scheduled to be generated and emailed to you on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. By default, the time zone used is your time zone, but you can select a different time zone. You can create up to 30 scheduled queries.
To schedule a report, choose one of these methods:
- While building a query, select Schedule from the bottom of the Query Builder to open the Add Schedulepanel.
- The query needs to be saved before the Schedule button is activated.
- The date range cannot be fixed; you must use a flexible date range such as "Last 7 Days," "Last Month," etc.
Or:
- From the Saved Queries list, open the query’s options menu and select Add Schedule.
Once the Add Schedule panel opens, choose the scheduling options and click Apply.
To edit an existing schedule, either click the schedule icon in the Saved Queries list, or select Edit Schedule from the query's options menu.
- The default recipient of the scheduled report is the email address of the person who is logged into the Triton Metrics module (that's you). You can add other recipients by entering their email addresses in the field below your email address and clicking Add.
- For Daily reports, choose the time of day and the timezone when the report will be generated and sent.
- For Weekly reports, choose the day of the week, the time of day, and the timezone when the report will be generated and sent.
- For Monthly reports, choose the day of the month, the time of day, and the timezone when the report will be generated and sent.
Note that if you choose a day of the month that does not occur in every month (such as "31"), the query will not run on months that do not include that date. For best results, follow the standard practice of scheduling monthly reports for the first day of the month.
- Default email recipient.
- This example shows two added recipients. Click the "x" next to a recipient to remove them.
- Enter an email address and click "Add" to add another recipient.
- The interval options change according to which interval you choose.
Query ID and Metrics API
You can save and retrieve queries in Triton Streaming Explore, Podcast Explore, Lineup Explore, Tap Explore, and Tap Affidavit. Every saved query has a query ID that you can use to send the resulting data to your business intelligence (BI) applications via the Triton Metrics API.
