This article describes how to use TAP's exclusivity rules to target ads from one advertiser to all podcast episodes at 100% share of voice (SOV) for a set period of time, with no limit on impressions. In other words, how to give full exclusivity to all podcast episodes to a single advertiser. It assumes you are already familiar with the basics of using TAP.
Exclusivity rules can only be created or edited by Organization Administrators.
To create an exclusivity rule, go to TAP's Organization Settings page, then go to the Exclusivity Rules tab. Create a rule that grants exclusive delivery access for an advertiser to a selected podcast, as shown below.
To create an exclusivity rule for one advertiser to one podcast:
Name the rule.
Enter a date range. (The date range should match the date ranges of the flights in the advertiser's exclusivity campaign.)
Select the advertiser.
Select All categories (excluding IAB24).
In the Targeting section, select the podcast that the exclusivity applies to. (You can further refine to select one specific episode or multiple episodes.)
Create (save) the exclusivity rule.
That's it! When the start date arrives, only ads from the selected advertiser (and any filler that is scheduled) will deliver to the selected podcast.
