You have the option of manually entering a VAST URL in order to use a third-party creative in a flight.
To enter a VAST URL as creative:
After creating the flight, go to the Creative section of the flight builder and click Custom VAST URL.
Enter the VAST URL into the VAST URL field. (If you want to include macros, see Using Macros.)
Enter the creative duration (in seconds). This is required. See note, below.
Optional: enter an External ID.
Review the personal data disclaimer, and if you agree, select the checkbox.
Click Save Custom VAST.
Validation: TAP performs no validation checks of the VAST URL that you enter. Be sure your URL conforms to VAST standards. See Creative Manager Tips & Tricks for information about using third-party testers to check your VAST URLs.
Version: TAP supports the use of VAST and VAST wrappers (including nesting of wrappers) up to version 4.3 of VAST. However, this does not guarantee that the player supports this usage of VAST.
Duration: Ensure that the duration you enter matches the creative in the VAST URL. The duration field is used to reserve inventory; it is not checked against the duration of the creative file, so no error is shown if they do not match.
