Below are a few examples of the types of reports you can create with TAP Explore. The real power of TAP Explore is evident when you export the data and apply formulas and calculations in Excel.
Example: Campaign Report
This report shows all campaigns for a specific advertiser. Use this when the advertiser wants to see everything they have booked on your network for a specific time range. The report is useful directly from export, but you can create pivots and rankings if you prefer.
Query:
Select the Impressions setting.
Select all relevant stations, the date range, and the Advertiser Name filter with the relevant advertiser selected in the filter.
Select the following dimension: Campaign.
Run the query to generate the report, then export the report to an Excel file.
Resulting exported report:
Example: Advertiser Ranking on Your Network, per Month
This report ranks the advertisers on your network.
Query:
Select the Impressions setting.
Select all relevant stations, and a date range.
Select the following dimensions: Month, Advertiser.
Run the query to generate the report, then export the report to an Excel file.
Resulting exported report:
Create the following pivot in Excel:
Add a new column ("<month> RANK") for each month included in your export, and apply the ranking formula to each column.
From here, you can create various charts and graphs in Excel.
