You can set multiple ads in a flight’s creative to run on a schedule. For example, you can create a flight that runs for three weeks and uses a different ad group for each week. Do this by creating multiple groups in the creative, then use time targeting in the creative to set the date range for each group.
Targeting is normally done at the flight level. Creative level targeting should only be used when your audio assets change according to the targeting criteria (time, listener, or content).

Example
This example shows how to set up a three-week flight to run a different ad group each week. Note that the audio creative must all be of the same duration.
First: Create flight and add first ad group
- Create a flight with a date range of three weeks.
- Go into the Triton Creative Manager and build an ad unit, including banners and tracking pixels, but do not publish it yet.
- Rename the ad unit’s ad group from "Group 1" to "Week 1."
Next: Add ad group for week 2
- In the Triton Creative Manager, create another ad group.
- Rename the new group "Week 2."
- Add the ad unit that you wish to play during the second week, including banners and tracking pixels, to the Week 2 ad group.
Next: Add ad group for week 3
- In the Triton Creative Manager, create another ad group.
- Rename the new group "Week 3."
- Add the ad unit that you wish to play during the third week, including banners and tracking pixels, to the Week 3 ad group.
Next: Apply time targeting
- Go to the Week 1 group and select the Group targeting tab.
- Create a date range targeting rule that targets the first week of the flight.
- Go to the Week 2 group and select the Group targeting tab.
- Create a date range targeting rule that targets the second week of the flight.
- Go to the Week 3 group and select the Group targeting tab.
- Create a date range targeting rule that targets the third week of the flight.
Finally: Save and publish the creative
Usage Notes
- In the example above, renaming the ad goups (Week 1, Week 2, etc.) is optional, but it's a useful way for you to identify the scheduled ad groups.
- There are no validation checks to ensure your creative schedule matches your flight date range. For example, you are not warned if you schedule an ad group to run in the first week of August, but your flight ends on July 31. - The flight will not deliver when the creative is not scheduled to deliver. For example, if your flight is set to run during the month of October with two ad groups; one scheduled for the first week of October and one scheduled for the last week of October, the flight will not deliver during the middle two weeks of October.
- Please schedule carefully!

- You can also apply content and listener creative targeting rules, where the creative that is used depends on those targeting aspects instead of a timed schedule.
- There are no validation checks or warnings to ensure your creative targeting matches your flight targeting. For example, if your flight targets the state of California, and your ad groups target listeners in San Francisco (California) and Portland (Oregon), the ads will only deliver to San Francisco listeners.
