Most TAP Settings can only be created and modified by Organization Administrators.
By default, all of your inventory is programmatically available to buyers through your enabled third-party processors (demand partners). However, you can refine your programmatic inventory with global inventory exclusion rules. TAP Programmatic applies global inventory exclusion rules to exclude your inventory from both open and private marketplaces.
Unlike flight targeting rules, which can specify both matching and non-matching inventory, global inventory exclusion rules apply only to matching inventory.
In each global inventory exclusion rule, you can specify the content or listeners that you want to exclude. You can create multiple rules, each with a mix of OR and AND logic.
For example, if you want TAP Programmatic to exclude your premium podcasts, you would create a global inventory exclusion rule that targets the content for those podcasts.
Show Global Inventory Exclusion Rules
Go to TAP Settings > Programmatic > Global exclusion rules.
Create Global Inventory Exclusion Rules
Go to TAP Settings > Programmatic > Global exclusion rules.
Click + New global inventory exclusion rules.
In New global inventory exclusion rule, specify the inventory that you want to exclude.
Click Create global inventory exclusion rule.
Specify Inventory to Exclude
When creating or editing a global inventory exclusion rule, you can specify its name and the inventory to exclude.
Each rule can specify a combination of content and listeners to exclude:
Content targeting: Any mix of Stations/podcasts, Episodes, and Other. See Content Targeting.
Listener targeting: Any mix of Player, Demography, Geography, and Other. See Listener Targeting.
For rules that target both content and listeners, TAP Programmatic applies the rule only to inventory that matches both the content targeting and listener targeting.
Enter the name of the rule.
Specify the content and listeners to exclude.
To save your changes, click Create global inventory exclusion rule or Save global inventory exclusion rule.
