Forecasting Dimensions (Splits)

Prev Next
Spots forecasting only uses one dimension: Station. The rest of this section applies to Impressions forecasting.

You must include at least one dimension to determine how the report is split. To change the default selection, click it and select a different one from the Edit Split panel. To add another dimension, click Add New in the Dimensions section to open the Create New Split panel on the right. Choose a dimension from the list and click Save.

You can choose a maximum of three dimensions.

The order in which you create your splits affects how the data is presented. For example, if you create a report that shows pre-roll and mid-roll inventory for two podcasts and two operating systems (e.g., iOS and Android), you can arrange your splits so they can show:

  • Avails split by position, further split by podcast, and further split by operating system, or
  • Avails split by position, further split by operating system, further split by podcast, or
  • Avails split by operating system, further split by podcast, further split by position, etc
