You can use Omny Studio to upload and manage your content then publish your podcasts in Apple Podcasts automatically.
Set up Premium Content or Video for Apple Podcasts
You can connect your Omny Studio organization, networks, and programs to your Apple Podcasts Connect account. This method lets you work almost entirely in Omny Studio:
Omny premium content: Publish automatically with Apple Podcasts Subscriptions. Omny Studio is one of the hosting providers for Apple Podcasts for Apple Podcasts Subscriptions. You will have to continue to use Apple Podcasts Connect to set up and manage your Apple Subscriptions. For details, see Apple’s Apple Podcasts Subscriptions.
Omny Video clips: Publish automatically with HLS Video in Apple Podcasts.
To publish your Omny playlists with an RSS feed instead, see Set Up an RSS Feed for Apple Podcasts.
Step 1: Set up Omny Studio and Apple Podcasts
You only need to do these tasks once:
Create an account for Apple Podcasts Connect. For details, see Apple’s Apple Podcasts for Creators.
Omny premium content: In Apple Podcasts Connect , sign up for Apple Podcast Subscriptions.
Omny video: Contact Omny Studio to activate the Omny Studio features for video podcasting and for Apple Podcast video. For details, see Activate Video Podcasting.
Step 2: Configure Omny Studio for Apple Podcasts
You can configure your Omny organization, network, or program to work with Apple Podcasts Connect. You only have to do this once for each organization, network, or program.

In Apple Podcasts Connect, create an API key for Omny Studio. For details, see Apple’s How to publish video on Apple Podcasts.
In Apple Podcasts Connect, get the Issuer ID, Key ID, and download the file for the API key.
In Omny Studio, find the organization, network, or program that you want to configure.
In Organization settings, Network settings, or Program settings, select Apple Podcasts settings.
Paste the Issuer ID, Key ID, and upload the API key that you got from Apple Podcasts Connect.
Select Save API key.
Step 3: Connect Your Playlists to Apple Podcasts Shows
See Connect a Playlist to Apple Podcasts.
Set Up an RSS Feed for Apple Podcasts
You can submit the RSS feeds of your Omny playlists to Apple Podcasts. Use this method for non-premium, audio-only content.
You need an Apple Podcasts Connect account to submit your Omny playlists. Please follow the steps in Apple’s Create an Apple Podcasts Connect account.
You do not need an Apple API key to submit an RSS feed.
You must submit each of your playlists to Apple Podcasts. See Submit an RSS Feed to Apple Podcasts.
Multiple Apple Podcasts Accounts
For Omny premium content or video, you can connect separate Apple Podcasts Connect accounts to any of your Omny organizations, networks, or programs. These connections are inherited so you can mix and match levels as needed. For details, see Settings Inheritance in Omny Studio.
Apple Podcasts and Omny Analytics
Premium content is served by Apple to your subscribers, therefore you can only see subscriber analytics in Apple Podcasts Connect.
Non-subscriber content and HLS video is served by Omny Studio, so you can still use Omny analytics features.
Manage Apple API keys
An API key from Apple Podcasts Connect has these items:
Key ID: Every API key has its own key ID.
Issuer ID: Every API key from the same Apple Podcasts Connect account has this ID.
Key file: A file that you download that ends with “.pem”. This acts like a password.
Do not share this API key except with the Omny Studio application.
You can cancel an API key by revoking it in Apple Podcasts Connect. Apple Podcasts rejects interactions with a platform, including Omny Studio, that uses a revoked API key. You cannot reuse a revoked API key, you need to create a new one to reconnect to your Apple Podcasts Connect account.
You can only download the key file once from Apple Podcasts Connect. If you lose the key file, you must revoke the API key then create another.
You can remove a revoked Apple API key in an Omny organization, network, or program in its Apple Podcasts settings by selecting Remove API Key.
