The New Podcast Addition Form
Use the Podcast Metrics Log Collection - New Podcast Addition form when you want to add up to five new podcasts to the list of podcasts you are measuring with Podcast Metrics. The URL for the form is unique to each Podcast Metrics customer, so you will receive a link to your unique New Podcast Addition form, and a password to access the form, directly from your Triton Digital Account Manager, Solutions Specialist, or Customer Support agent.
Accessing the Form
Use the unique URL that was sent to you by Triton Digital to load the form into your browser. Enter the password that was included in the message with the URL, and click Enter. The rest of the form appears when the password is validated.

Using the Form
Once the password is entered, two additional fields and a button appear in the form:
Field | Description |
---|---|
What is the RSS feed of the podcast to add? | (Required.) Enter the complete RSS feed URL for the podcast you want to add to Podcast Metrics, including the transfer protocol ( |
Optional: what is the market of this podcast? | (Optional.) Enter the name of the market (if applicable). This is useful if you have several podcasts that primarily serve different markets; specifying the market (see below) creates a broadcaster hierarchy that you can use in Podcast Metrics when filtering and selecting podcasts. |
+ Add another podcast (5 podcasts maximum) | Click this if you want to add additional podcasts. Each time you click this button, a new pair of fields appears (one for the RSS and one for the Market). |
Once you have entered the information for all of the podcast RSS feeds you wish to add to Podcast Metrics, click Submit. You will receive a confirmation immediately, but it might take a few days before your podcasts appear in Podcast Metrics.
Specifying Your Podcast Market (Optional)
To specify a market or sub-market, enter the market name in the Optional: what is the market of this podcast? field. If the market does not already exist in your broadcaster hierarchy, it is created using that name. If the market already exists, the new podcast is added to that market.
Usage tips:
Be sure to enter the market name exactly as it appears in your broadcaster hierarchy, as seen in Podcast Metrics.
To create a second-level market, enter the name of the first-level market, then a forward slash ( / ) then the name of the second-level market.
Use good naming conventions; spaces can be used but avoid punctuation or special characters such as accents and symbols.
Why Specify a Market?
Specifying a market creates a broadcaster hierarchy that you can use in Podcast Metrics when filtering and selecting podcasts. For example, if you have five podcasts that serve your "Entertainment" market and ten podcasts that serve your "News" market, you can create an "Entertainment" market and a "News" market, and generate Podcast Metrics reports for all podcasts, individual podcasts, or for one or more of those defined market groups.
Furthermore, you can create sub-markets (up to two levels). For example, your "News" market can have a "West Coast" sub-market and an "East Coast" sub-market. In this scenario, "News" is considered level 1 ("Market L1" in Podcast Metrics) and "West Coast" and "East Coast" are considered level 2 ("Market L2").
You can check your existing market levels and their names in Podcast Metrics Explore, as shown below.

"Blork News" is the publisher.
Market level 1 is selected ("Market L1").
In this example, four "Market L1" podcasts appear in the filtered list. Specifying all of these podcast markets would look like this:
Blork News/West Coast
Blork News/East Coast
Blork News/Central
Blork News/Mountains
