Ad Quality/Exclusivity Rules Usage Notes

Ad Quality and Exclusivity Rules can only be created and edited by Organization Administrators.

Be aware that creating ad quality rules can affect delivery of advertising campaigns. Use with caution.

Unless otherwise indicated, these usage notes apply to both Ad Quality rules and Exclusivity Rules.

Forecasting

Ad Quality rules and Exclusivity rules will be integrated into forecasting in an upcoming release of TAP.

Target specific stations/podcasts

Important! (Ad Quality rules only.) Remember that if you do not target specific stations/podcasts in the Targeting section, all stations/podcasts are targeted by the ad quality rule (unless you create the rule as a draft).

Creating rules as DRAFT

Select Create as draft at the top of the New Ad Quality Rule page to create the rule as a draft that is not activated until its status changes to Active. This is useful for when you want to create the rule now but not target any podcasts until later.

You must select Create as Draft before you save the rule; once the rule is saved as Active it cannot be changed to "Draft."
