Submitting your podcast to Spotify with Omny Studio is easy!
New podcasts may take up to 24 hours to appear in Spotify, however most podcasts appear within just a few hours.
From the Spotify Show Portal, you can access other Spotify features like uploading a trailer or video.
Go to your playlist’s Details tab then expand Submit to podcast directories.
Select Submit to Spotify, read the terms and conditions, and if you agree, check Spotify’s advertising content terms.
Select Submit to Spotify.
Claim the show in Spotify to access the Spotify for Podcasters dashboard.
Video Content in Spotify
Spotify does not support analytics or ad insertion for video content hosted by other platforms, including Omny Studio.
Omny Studio analytics and Triton Podcast Metrics cannot capture analytics data for video content that is played in Spotify because Spotify uses its own delivery network and caching for video clips.
Omny cannot insert ads into videos in the Spotify player.
However, Spotify supports audio-only podcasts hosted on other platforms. In other words, you can still use Omny and TAP features to manage analytics and ad insertion for your audio content that’s consumed in Spotify.
Publish Omny Video Clips to Spotify
If you haven't already, claim your show on Spotify.
In Omny Studio, create a separate, duplicate playlist for video and submit it to Spotify.
For the audio-only playlist, set Media Format to Audio-first. Use this playlist for Omny-managed advertising and analytics.
