Reseller Advertisers (for Inventory Owners)

This feature is only available to publishers and resellers using the optional Reach Extension feature.

Reseller advertisers are created by inventory owners, not by inventory resellers.

Reseller advertisers are created by Inventory Owners who are using Reach Extension to delegate inventory for sale by Inventory Resellers. The steps for creating a Reseller advertiser are essentially the same as for creating a Direct sale advertiser, with the following exceptions:

  • There is no Currency setting for Reseller advertisers.

  • There are no Competitive separation settings for Reseller advertisers. (IAB category is mandatory on the Reseller side, which enforces industry separation. So there is no need to set separation rules here.)

  • There is a drop-down selector where you select the Reseller that you wish to connect to. The reseller must already exist as a Reseller Organization.

Tip: For the advertiser name, use a name that clearly identifies the reseller. This will help you identify reseller advertisers in reporting.
