Artwork
Artwork is a graphics image that you can add to clips, playlists, and programs. Podcast platforms use this artwork in their directories and players. For details, see Artwork.
You can include text in artwork, like a program’s name. But avoid adding other text like marketing copy or promotional content. This might interfere with the text and graphical elements in a podcast platform’s user interface.
Artwork file size
There is no file size limit to artwork. But keep in mind that artwork can affect your bandwidth costs.
Artwork for all Clips, Playlists, and Programs
This is the conventional 1:1 format supported by all podcast platforms. You can add artwork in this format to all audio and video podcasts:
Aspect ratio: 1:1 (square)
File format: JPEG or PNG
Minimum resolution: 3000 x 3000 pixels
16:9 Artwork for Video
Some podcast platforms that play video also support 16:9 artwork. As well as 1:1 artwork, you can add 16:9 artwork to video clips, and to playlists and programs that contain video clips.
Aspect ratio: 16:9
Minimum resolution: 1920 × 1080 pixels
File format: PNG (preferred) or JPEG
