IF YOU HAVE AN AD SYSTEM ACTIVE, PLEASE ENSURE THAT IT'S TURNED OFF BEFORE RUNNING YOUR IMPORT - OR IMPORT THE AD-FREE VERSION OF THE RSS FEED.
Notes:
Whenever you are redirecting/importing an RSS feed, your historical analytics will not be available in the new program. Please download your historical analytics to CSV to maintain an archive.
If you have an RSS pagesize limit in place but your podcast feed has a greater number of episodes, please reach out to Support.
To migrate a playlist within a program to another playlist within a program, please follow these steps:
Create a blank playlist in the new program to import into (just needs placeholder name and category because this will be updated)
Import into that playlist using the RSS feed. There's an RSS importer for the playlist at this dropdown here:
Make sure the Update playlist details from podcast checkbox is ticked.
Once the import is complete, you can take the re-direct steps which are outlined in this help guide.
If you have active ads from the ad-server, please disable them under Program Settings - Monetization to prevent them from being imported with the audio.
Please Note:
Spotify differs from most podcast apps and won’t download episodes from your new RSS feed until the original episodes are unavailable. Therefore, you will continue to see downloads in your old account until you delete the original episodes.
Please wait at least a week after setting up the redirect before deleting your old program/account to ensure all subscribers on other apps are successfully migrated.
