How to specify your stations' radio formats in Triton Metrics

Prev Next

Including your station's radio format in your Triton Metrics configuration provides better reporting opportunities. Be sure to include your station's format ID and format name when working with Triton Digital to set up Triton Metrics for your stations.

If you are already set up with Triton Metrics and we don't have your station formation information, we strongly encourage you to send it to us so we can update your configuration. This lets you take full advantage of the reporting power of Triton Metrics.

How to add your stations' formats:

  1. Download the Station Formats Excel file. It includes the full list of 120 station format IDs and names.

  2. Open the Excel file and find the row for your first station's format. Enter your station's name in the first column of that row. Be sure to use your station name exactly as it is defined in Triton Metrics!

  3. Repeat for all stations. If you have more than one station using the same format, create a separate row for each station (see image, below).

  4. Delete the rows that do not have a corresponding station.

  5. Save the Excel file and send it to Triton Digital Customer Support.

Example Excel file showing Station Format for four stations:

The two stations in the image above use the same format. (Use two separate rows.)

Alternatively, use a CSV file:

  1. Download the Station Formats Excel file.

  2. Using the Excel file as a reference, create a comma-separated values (CSV) file where each row contains Station Name, Format ID, Format Name (in that order). Be sure to use your station name exactly as it is defined in Triton Metrics and to write the Format Name exactly as it appears in the Excel file.

  3. Save the CSV file and send it to Triton Digital Customer Support.

In either case, send the file to supportdesk@tritondigital.com, saying you would like to add the Station Format information to your Triton Metrics configuration.
