Omny Studio provides consumption analytics from verified plays. However, verified plays does not include analytics from third-party podcast platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and so on. For details, see Consumption Analytics Explained.
Apple’s Podcast Connect provides consumption analytics only, and is not a replacement for, or measuring the same thing as, downloads in Omny Studio’s analytics. We advise publishers not to compare Omny analytics with stats provided by Apple because they are not equivalent measurements.
The Spotify for Podcasters dashboard provides “starts” and “listens” metrics, which are not directly comparable with Omny download metrics. For details, see Analytics Filtering Techniques.
