Learn About Automatic Podcasting
Set up Automatic Podcasting
Step 1: Activate Automatic Podcasting
To activate automatic podcasting publishing, go to Program Settings > Live Recordings then select Automatic podcasting.

Step 2: Automatically Create Podcasts
To completely automate podcasting, check Automatically create podcasts from scheduled recordings then enter an email address to be notified each time that Omny create a clip.
If you leave this box unchecked, see Manually Publish with Rules.

Step 3: Configure Recording

Expand to see an explanation of the available settings:
Recordings mode: Choose whether or not you'd like to "stitch" your recordings together or publish your recordings individually.
Recording segments: Choose whether or not you'd like chapter markers at the start of every segment. Also, choose to add a "joiner" sound effect in between each recording from a list of uploaded clips. You'll need to upload a sound effect to do this.
Exclude recordings that started or ended abruptly: You can also exclude recording break types. For example, if you're recording songs into Omny Studio separately but you wouldn't like to include them in your published episode, simply type "song" to exclude them from the rules.
Join recordings across multiple schedules: You can join recording schedules for a single program that end and begin within a set number of minutes from each other. This can be used for shows which run over midnight to ensure that only one automatic podcast is stitched together for two schedules. More info on joining recordings across multiple schedules at the end of this article.
Step 4: Configure Clip Settings
Here, you can configure where the final episode will be published, the title and description of the episode and the clip visibility.

Expand to see an explanation of the available settings:
Clip title: Create a custom title and description for each podcast episode using the special dynamic tags or simply name the file as the first or last recording's name.
Clip visibility: Keep the clip private if you'd like to review before publishing. For more details, see Clip Visibility
Audio Options: See Add an Intro and Outro to a Clip and Auto-level Your Audio.
Monetization: Select Mid-roll audio ad to automatically ad a mid-roll add marker between segments. These markers communicate with your ad-server to dynamically insert an ad at that point and will override the programs monetization ad marker rules.
Add to playlists: Specify which playlist/s you'd like the automatically published clip to live in.
Manually Publish with Rules
Producers may want to take advantage of the automatic publishing features such as stitching multiple recordings without making it completely automatic.
If you choose not to check Automatically create podcasts from scheduled recordings in the first step, you can configure everything else and then when you're ready to publish simply click "create podcast" here:

This will use your Automatic podcast settings to create a podcast from that day's recordings.
Join Recordings from Multiple Schedules
If your schedule goes past midnight and you're looking to record one program across multiple days, set the recording on day 1 to record until 11:59:59 PM, and to begin at 12:00:01 AM on day 2.

Then, from Automatic Podcasting > Recording Settings, add a value that covers the gap between the two recording schedules in Join recordings across multiple schedules.
