The YouTube Playlist Setup is only available to Broadcaster Administrators.
Use the YouTube Playlist Setup page in Triton Settings to pair your Triton Digital podcast programs with your YouTube playlists. This lets you see all of the metrics for those selected playlists (podcast downloads and YouTube views) in one place.
In this context:
- Program is your podcast on Triton Digital.
- Channel is the name of your YouTube channel.
- Playlist is the name of your YouTube playlist that you want to pair with your program.
Podcast to YouTube Playlist Pairing
The YouTube Playlist Setup page shows you your current playlist pairings (if you have any) as well as programs that are unpaired. Use the filters to expand or narrow the list, as needed.
- Lists filters.
- List search.
- List of your programs.
- Create new pairing.
To create a new pairing:
- On the YouTube Playlist Setup page, click +New Pairing.
- On the Create New Pairing page, select a podcast program from the Program drop-down list.
- Select the YouTube channel from the Channel drop-down list.
- Use the Playlists area to select the playlist(s) that you want to pair with the selected program. You can filter the list of playlists:
All = Shows all playlists, including ones that are already paired to the selected program.
New = Shows new playlists (since the last edit)
Unpaired = Only shows playlists that are not already paired to any program. - Click Create Link to pair the selected playlist(s) to your program.
To see your playlist pairings, go back to the main page and (optionally) filter on Paired Programs Only:
- Filter on Paired Programs Only.
- The listed program is paired with playlists in the indicated channel.
- Click "List" to see the specific playlist pairings.
- Click "View audit log" to see a log of pairing activities.
Viewing Data in Podcast Metrics
YouTube reports can be generated in Podcast Metrics from the Podcast Video Explore page.
