Hi Support,
I'm moving my podcast to a new host provider and kindly request that you apply a redirect for the following show ASAP.
Can you please apply a 301 permanent redirect from:
[INSERT old host RSS]
to:
[INSERT NEW OMNY STUDIO RSS]
We will need this redirect kept in place for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Please let me know if you need any more information and an advised timeline would be greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks in advance.
You can find your Omny RSS feed using this guide: Where is my rss feed
Although Apple Podcasts will normally pick up on changes within a few days, you should leave the old feed in place for a week to ensure all subscribers are moved across.
To ensure Apple Podcasts picks up your redirect as fast as possible, you can follow these steps to update your RSS feed in Apple's Podcast Connect dashboard to the RSS feed you are migrating to (your Omny RSS feed). If you have any questions please contact us.

Create two versions of your next podcast episode. One of them will be the regular version and the other will have an announcement at the beginning of the show that says, “If you are hearing this, you will not receive the new episode after X date. I am moving the feed and the new feed is available on my website”.
Upload the “normal” version to your Omny account and the “announcement” version to your old hosting account and publish.
Upload your next episode to Omny and publish. Upload one more episode to your old host that says, “This feed has moved. To continue listening to this show, please go to <web address here> and resubscribe.”
