How can I fix the alignment with the debugger for those streams that don't use Station Manager? (Telos, Wheatstone for example.) | You can use software such as Audacity (free audio wave editor) and record the stream. Then, as breaks come and go, you can hear the ad replacement occur and when it happens. Then open the waveform in Audacity and look at the delays that occur. From there you can adjust your alignment. This is more time consuming, as once you make the adjustments, save, listen again, adjust again etc. until you get it right, it can sometimes take hours. |
When monitoring cue points, what does it mean if the dot is red? | It indicates a problem with the metadata. Start going down the troubleshooting chain to find where the chain broke. Most of the time it breaks between the automation system and the encoder (Station Manager). |
What could block the metadata (or break the chain)? |
