Here's how to edit your audio using Omny Studio's audio editor.

The audio editor is a simple audio editing tool to join, split, trim-in, and trim-out Recording and Clip segments to produce new Clips. To edit the a Clip, just click on "Edit Audio" in the top right-hand corner.

Selecting "Edit Audio" will edit the current Clip file. To edit a copy of the Clip and keep the original unchanged, click the drop-down menu next to "Edit Audio" and select "Clone as new clip". Lean more about Cloning a clip here.

Adding audio to the editor
The editor allows multiple Recording and Clip segments to be edited together in the order they are presented on the timeline.
To add a new segment:
- Click on the Recordings or Clips tab. 
- Find the audio you need from the list of recent Recordings or Clips, or type keywords in the search box. 
- Click the Add button on each segment you want to add. 
Trimming
You can trim the start or end of any segment.
- Identify the desired location in the audio for trimming. 
- Choose the appropriate button (either “Trim Start” or “Trim End”) based on the desired trim action. 
- Repeat as desired. 
Splitting
You can split a segment into separate parts at any position. This makes it possible to delete unwanted segments of audio.
- Identify the desired location to split the audio. 
- Select the split button. 
- Delete unwanted audio. 
If the “Split” button is disabled, a split is not possible at the desired time. 
Reordering
You can move segments around on the timeline to change the order.
- Select the segment you wish to reorder. 
- Click and drag the segment in the list of Cut items to reorder your audio. 
Note;
Use the new "Cut Items" toggle button in the “Markers Section” to guide the placement of chapter markers.
