# Webcast Metrics

**Webcast Metrics** (WCM) comprises a set of web browser-based applications that provide valuable measurement information about audiences for streaming online radio. It is divided into two sections: **Live Analytics** and **Total Measurement**.

#### Live Analytics

**Live Analytics** includes the following applications:

- [Realtime Listening](/v1/docs/streaming-realtime)
- [Realtime Monitoring](/user/docs/realtime-monitoring)
- [CDN Usage](/user/docs/cdn-usage)

#### Total Measurement

**Total Measurement** includes the following applications:

- [Trends](/v1/docs/streaming-trends)
- [Charts](/v1/docs/streaming-charts)
- [Connection Analysis](/user/docs/connection-analysis)
- [Webcast Explore](/v1/docs/streaming-explore)
- [Audience Details](/v1/docs/wcm-audience-details)

## Time Zone Normalization

All reports contained in Webcast Metrics are **time zone normalized** according to the criteria outlined below.

#### Real-time Data

In [**Realtime Listening**](/v1/docs/streaming-realtime), the time zone depends on what is selected in the content filter. You can see a **time zone indicator** in the Concurrent Listeners summary. Time zones are expressed using the **[IANA tz database](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tz_database)** standard.

- **Station-level reports** show the times for the *selected station*. So the listener count for "9:00 AM" shows the number of concurrent listeners at 9:00 AM *in the time zone of the station* (regardless of the time zone for the group or publisher, or the time zone of the listener).
- **Group- and Publisher-level reports** show *your* local time as detected by your web browser.![](https://cdn.document360.io/7124b381-0a94-401a-abbd-9df9c4ea5dff/Images/Documentation/TZN-concurrent-listeners-2x.png)

1. This New York-based *station* has 3174 concurrent listeners right now, in the *America/New_York* time zone.
2. This *publisher* has 50,343 concurrent listeners right now, across several time zones *but the report it expressed in the viewer's time zone (from their browser settings)*.

#### Audience Details

In [**Audience Detail**](/v1/docs/wcm-audience-details) reports, the dayparts listed refer to dayparts at the **local stations**. So if you choose "Mon-Fri 6a-10a," the report will include data from the "Monday-Friday, 6:00AM-10:00AM" daypart *at the locations of the stations*, regardless of where you are and what time zone you are in. Even if your report is at the group or publisher level, and the included stations cross more than one time zone, you get the data for that daypart *at each station*.
