# Using Sweepers

> [!NOTE]
> Sweepers via Triton Settings is an optional feature that must be configured in your publisher profile. Contact your Triton Digital Client Success Manager or [Customer Support](mailto:supportdesk@tritondigital.com) to enable sweepers.

A **sweeper** is a short audio file that marks the beginning and end of an ad break. To use sweepers in Omny Studio:

- Triton Digital must enable sweepers in your publisher profile (see note, above).
- You need to configure your sweepers in [Triton Settings](/user/docs/sweepers).
- [Select your sweeper settings](/docs/using-sweepers-omny#choosing-sweeper-settings-for-programs) in Omny Studio for each program that will use sweepers (see below).

## Configuring Sweepers for Programs

> [!NOTE]
> Before you can choose your program sweeper settings, sweepers must be enabled in your publisher profile and sweepers must be configured in Triton Settings.

**To configure sweepers:**

1. Go to the program in Omny Studio for which you want to configure sweepers.
2. Go to **Program settings > Audio**.
3. Scroll down to the **Station sweeper setting** section. (*This section will not appear if sweepers are not enabled in your publisher profile.*)
4. ## Choosing Sweeper Settings for Programs

Once your sweepers are configured in Triton Settings, you can choose the settings on a **program-by-program basis**.

**To choose sweeper settings for each program:**

1. Go to the program in Omny Studio for which you want to choose sweepers.
2. Go to **Program settings > Audio**.
3. Scroll down to the **Station sweeper setting** section. (*This section will not appear if sweepers are not enabled in your publisher profile.*)
4. Select a sweeper option for the program.
5. > Be sure the **Station sweeper setting** option you choose has been [configured](/docs/using-sweepers-omny#configuring-sweepers-for-programs) with corresponding sweeper audio files! *If there are no sweeper audio files for the selected sweeper setting, ads might not run*.
