# Webcast Trends

**Trends** shows you trend data for key metrics over a **short time span** (the last 30 days) and a **longer time span** (the last 52 weeks). The short time span trends are shown in the left column and the longer time span trends are in the right column.

Longer timespan column shows trends for the last 52 weeks *if that much data is available*. If you have been using Triton Metrics for less than 52 weeks it will show the trend for a period that corresponds to how much data as is available.

## Adding Filters

You must include at least one **publisher, group, or station*** and a [**daypart**](/user/docs/streaming-explore#choosing-a-date-range) selection. Click any filter button to open the **Selection Management Area** to edit the item.

* *You can select multiple items of the same type, such as multiple groups from the same publisher, or multiple stations within the same group. You cannot intermix, such a choosing stations from different publishers or stations from different groups*.

If you add **no additional filters**, the trends displayed are for *all dimensions* for the selected publisher, group, or station. Click **Add new** to add one or more additional filters. The filters are the same as are found in Streaming Explore, and are a subset of the [Webcast Explore Dimensions list](/user/docs/streaming-explore#available-dimensions).

The **Radio Formats** dimension only reports the formats that have been configured for your stations; if you have not configured any formats, nothing will be reported.
