Archiving

Prev Next

Advertisers, campaigns, flights, programmatic deals, and teams can be archived once they are no longer being used or no longer needed. Archiving an item removes it from the item's list tables when the default Not archived quick filters are used.

To archive an item, select Archive (item) from the item's Options menu (either from menu above the item's overview panel or from the menu at the right side of its row in the list of items). It works the same way for advertisers, campaigns, flights, and teams.

  1. Advertiser/campaign/flight Options menu (from item's overview).

  2. Advertiser/campaign/flight list view Options menu.

Archive Notes

Below are a few notes about archiving that you should be aware of.

  • You can archive a campaign or flight at any time. When flights are archived, delivery stops immediately.

  • When you archive a campaign, all of its child entities (flights within that campaign) are also archived.

  • You can un-archive an archived campaign by changing the status to Approved. This does not automatically un-archive the campaign's flights. To un-archive the flights in an archived campaign, you need to un-archive the campaign first, then un-archive the flights individually. Note: the status of an un-archived flight will temporarily be Active even though it has expired. However, an internal process will switch the status to Done within a few minutes of un-archiving a flight.

  • TAP Programmatic Deals cannot be un-archived once they are archived. You can, however, copy an archived deal to create a new deal based on the archived one.

To View Archived Items

To find and view archived items, go to the Advertiser/Campaign/Flight/Teams list and use one of the following methods:

View "all" and browse or search

Set the Quick Filter to All, then either browse through the resulting list, or filter according to the item's name, ID, etc. (This is only efficient if you have very few advertisers/campaigns/flights/teams to look through, or if you know the name/ID, etc.)

Filter by "Archived"

Select Not archived from the Quick filters, then click the filter and edit it to only shows archived items:

Once the filter is applied, only archived items appear in the list. Browse or filter by name, ID, etc., to locate the item you're looking for.
