# Submit Premium Content or HLS Video to Apple Podcasts

You can use Omny Studio to automatically distribute your podcasts with Apple Podcasts:

- Publish your Omny premium content to Apple Podcast Subscriptions. You will have to continue to use Apple Podcasts Connect to set up and manage your Apple Subscriptions.
- Publish video clips in Omny to HLS (HTTP live streaming) Video in Apple Podcasts.

> Create and update your content only in Omny Studio
> 
> After you have submitted your premium or HLS video content, do not make changes to your content in Apple Podcasts Connect because it could be overwritten by Omny Studio.

## Requirements

To submit premium content or HLS Video to Apple Podcasts, you must connect your Omny content to Apple Podcasts. For details, see [Get Started with Apple Podcasts](/user/docs/connect-to-apple-podcasts).

## Submit a Playlist for Premium Content or HLS Video

You can submit an Omny playlist for premium content in Apple Podcasts Subscriptions and for streaming HLS video in Apple Podcasts.

To submit a playlist, you need to add at least one clip to it. You only need to submit an Omny playlist once.

When submitting an Omny playlist, Omny also creates a matching show in Apple Podcasts Connects for you. Any uploads and other updates that you make in Omny Studio appear automatically in the Apple Podcasts show.

If you have already created an Apple Podcasts show for your Omny playlist, do not submit it. Instead, you can claim your podcast in Apple Podcasts Connect. See [Claim an Existing Show in Apple Podcast Connect](/user/docs/linking-an-existing-premium-show-in-apple-podcast-connect-to-omny-studio).

1. If you haven’t already, create a new program and a playlist for it. See [Create a Program](/user/docs/creating-a-new-program).
2. Record, upload, and edit clips for your playlist. See [Set up Live Recordings](/user/docs/setting-up-live-recordings-for-your-radio-station) and [Upload and Edit Clips](/user/docs/upoad-edit-clips).
3. Set up the visibility of your clips for ad-free, early access, and bonus episodes. See [Set up Clips for Apple Subscriber Benefits](/user/docs/set-up-clips-for-apple-subscriber-benefits).
4. In your playlist’s **Details**tab, choose a **Publishing**setting then select **Save changes**. You cannot distribute the playlist if its **Publishing**setting is **Private**. See [Set up Clips for Apple Subscriber Benefits](/user/docs/set-up-clips-for-apple-subscriber-benefits).
5. In your playlist’s **Details**tab, select **Apple Podcasts**.
6. Select **Create show in Apple Podcasts**.
7. In **Create show**, select **Create** to confirm that there isn’t already an Apple Podcasts show for your Omny playlist.
8. For HLS video streaming: In **Apple Podcasts video**, select **Enable to stream HLS video with Apple Podcasts**. Then in **Apple Podcasts video terms and conditions**, select **Accept and enable Apple Podcasts video** to confirm.
