# Targeting Station Tags

Use *station tags*to target advertising to specific stations or groups of stations.

- If you target a station tag, but no stations are assigned to that tag, the flight will not deliver.
- [Limited content access users](/v1/docs/tap-user-management#console-content-access-control-cac-and-tap) cannot use station tag targeting in flights. Only all content access users can use station tags.
- If you assign a station to a station tag while the tag is used in an active flight, that station is targeted and delivery to it will begin immediately.
