# Add Clips Automatically to Playlists

Set-up auto-add rules so that your clips are automatically added to a playlist

If you'd like to have clips automatically added to a playlists using rules, you can click **Configure auto-add** under the **Clips** tab.

Then you can add rules using the user interface here:

The rules options are listed here:

Once you create your rule or multiple rules and whether or not all rules need to be matched or just one, you can click save. From then on, any clip that matches will automatically be added to the playlist.

If you'd like to apply your rules to existing clips, click "Add existing clips that match these rules" before clicking save.
