A flight is the fundamental building block in TAP. It is the definition of when an ad or set of ads are to be seen, and includes the start and end dates, the traffic method, impressions goal, pricing model and value, and can also include targeting and pacing definitions.

A flight is made up of five components:

- [Flight details](/user/docs/creating-a-flight#flight-details)
- [Delivery details](/user/docs/creating-a-flight#delivery-details)
- [Capping](/user/docs/creating-a-flight#capping-optional)
- [Creative](/user/docs/creating-a-flight#creative)
- [Targeting](/user/docs/creating-a-flight#targeting)

Click **Flights** in the TAP navigation sidebar to access the Flights page.

This video shows an earlier version TAP. The general principles discussed remain the same, but some features and interface elements have changed.

##### Quick Look:

****How to find a flight****

The Flights page contains a list of all the flights you have access to. By default, the **Not archived** filter is selected, showing you all flights except the archived ones. (Select **All** to see all flights *including* archived ones.) Use the filters to narrow down the list until you find the one, you're looking for.

**Filter by status/state:**

Narrow your search by selecting the Status/state filter that corresponds to the status or state of the flight you are looking for. For example, select **Draft** in the quick filters to see only flights that have their status set as Draft.

**Filter by user:**

Select **My teams** to only see flights created by members of your team. Or select **Me** to only see flights created by you.

You can also **combine** quick filters, such as quick-filtering **Draft** flights created by **Me**.

**Filter by name, etc.:**

Enter a name or other text in the filter bar and select the search criteria from the smart list **suggestions** that appear. *The suggestions list varies depending on the text you enter*.
