# Find Items

You can quickly find and go to clips, programs, playlists, and recordings with the **Search** field at the top of the Omny Studio page. Searching in Omny Studio is not case sensitive.

## Quick Search

Quick search shows the top 4 results from programs, clips, recordings, and playlists. It also remembers your most recently visited items.

1. Select **Search** at the top of the Omny Studio page or press **Ctrl+K**.
2. Enter text to search for. Omny Studio updates search results as you type.
3. You can filter by **All**, **Clips**, **Programs**, **Playlists** and **Recordings**.
4. To organize search results by type, check **Group by type**.
5. To show [hidden programs](/user/docs/hide-a-program) too, enable **Include results from hidden programs**.
6. To continue your search in **Organization search**, select **All results for**.

## Advanced Search

For advanced searching, you can filter search results for all clips, programs, playlists, and recordings with **Organization Search**.

1. Do one of the following:
  - From any page, select **Search** at the top of the Omny Studio page then select **Organization Search**.
  - In the Omny Studio home page, select **Organization Search**.
2. To refine your search, select **All, Clips**, **Programs**, **Playlists**, or **Recordings**.
3. Enter text to search for.
4. Choose options and dates to filter and sort search results.
5. To include [hidden programs](/user/docs/hide-a-program) in your search, select **Include results from hidden programs**.
6. Select **Apply**.
7. See your search results at the bottom of the page.

## Find in Clips, Recordings, and Playlists

When working with [clips](/user/docs/uploading-clips-editing-audio), [recordings](/user/docs/recording-for-radio-stations), or [playlists](/user/docs/playlists-explained), you can search for a specific item.

To filter search results in **Clips**, **Recordings**, or **Playlists**, select the drop-down arrow.

## Refine Your Searches

You can fine-tune your searches with special operators.

| Example | Result |
| --- | --- |
| panda bear | Items with “panda”, “bear”, or both, in any order. |
| panda - bear | Items with “panda” that do not have “bear”. |
| panda + bear | Items with both “panda” and “bear”, in any order. |
| "panda bear" | Items with the exact phrase “panda bear”. |
| bear* | Items with at least one occurrence of “bear”, “bearing”, “bearable”, and so on. |
