# Create a Draft Clip

You can create a clip ahead of time before its media is ready. You can [upload the media](/user/docs/upload-to-omny-studio#upload-to-a-draft-clip) later when you’re ready to publish the podcast.

1. Find the program that you want to add a draft clip to. See [Find Items](/user/docs/find-items).
2. Select **Clips**.
3. Select **Create draft clip**.
4. Enter the draft clip’s **Title**, **Description**, and other details.
5. To save your clip, select **Save changes**.
