# Composition

> [!NOTE]
> Podcast Metrics Industry measurement tools provide comparison data for the overall podcast industry market (“total market”) *as measured by Triton Digital*.

**Podcast Metrics Industry Composition** provides an understanding of the industry from a trend/industry insight point of view, indicating how a publisher’s listenership compares to the industry overall.

- **Publisher/Market View:** a column of pie charts broken down by category, device family, and player, for **your publisher or market**.
- **Industry View:** a column of corresponding pie charts for the **total market**.

1. **Podcast asset filter**: choose one or more publishers or markets.
2. **Date range** filter: select one of the presets or a custom date range.
3. **Country** filter: select one or more countries.
4. Click **+Add new** to add additional filters. Use the filters to refine the graphs in the Publisher/Market view column.
5. Click **Run** to run the report with the selected filters. If you change the filter selection, click **Run** again to see the report with the new filters.
6. The **Publisher/Market View** graph column. These graphs show the category, device family, and player download share for the selected podcast asset(s).
7. The **Industry View** graph column. These graphs show the category, device family, and player download share for the total industry.
8. Graph **Export** option.
