# Bulk Editing

Bulk editing lets you perform tasks like changing flight status or archiving campaigns to many items with a single action. You can bulk-edit advertisers, campaigns, and flights.

To use bulk editing, your [user role](/user/docs/user-roles) must allow editing.

When you select items in **Advertisers**, **Campaigns**, or **Flights**, the **Bulk edit**actions appear at the bottom of the window, from which you can select the action to apply to the selected items.

## Tutorial: Bulk Editing

This video shows an earlier version of TAP. The general principles discussed remain the same, but some features and UI elements might have changed.

## Tip: Bulk Editing and Filtering

Bulk editing is particularly effective when combined with filtering as a way to find items to bulk edit.

You can only select the number of visible items in a list for bulk editing, not the full list of items that match your filtering criteria. If you get more results than can appear on one page, change **Items per page limit**to a number that lets you see all of your results on the same page.

## Examples

Examples of ways to save time with bulk editing:

- Set a group of advertisers to **Inactive** status.
- Change the currency or IAB categories of a group of advertisers.
- Approve or decline a group of campaigns.
- Pause a group of flights.
- Change the content type, pacing, priority, or position of a group of flights.: Reassign the Trafficker for a Group of Campaigns

You can also change the account executive or trafficker assigned to a group of campaigns. For example, a trafficker, **Fred Docco**, has won the lottery and quit his job. Your task is to assign all of his campaigns to another trafficker, **Beyonce MacGuffin**.

1. In the campaigns list, filter the campaigns to show **Not archived**, since you cannot change the trafficker on an archived campaign, and only show the campaigns assigned to **Fred Docco**.

2. Select **all items** in the filtered list that appears.
3. At the bottom of the page, select **Bulk edit campaigns > Trafficked by**.
4. Select **Beyonce MacGuffin** in the trafficker's list, and click **Bulk edit**.

**Result:** Fred Docco's campaigns are assigned to Beyonce MacGuffin.
