Browser Settings for Language and Time Format

You might find that the date in the "Reports & Analytics" or "Publishing" sections of Omny Studio is displaying in a format other than the one you prefer. This is likely due to the language settings in your web browser. (Some browsers impose specific formats based on language.)

To resolve this, try updating the language settings in your browser. (See below.)

The instructions below are for the most common browsers, and are correct at the time of this writing. If the browser settings change, or do not match the instructions below, please refer to the browser’s help documentation.

Chrome

Windows:

  1. At the top right, Select the three dots and scroll down to Settings.

  2. On the left, select Languages.

Mac:

  1. In the Chrome menu (top right), select Settings.

  2. In Settings, select Languages.

Then…

  1. Under "Preferred languages," next to the language you'd like to use, select the three dots.

    • If the language isn't listed, add it by clicking Add languages.

  2. Select Display Google Chrome in this language.

  3. Restart Chrome to apply the changes.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three dots in the top right corner of the browser (“Settings and more”).

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Select Languages from the left-hand menu.

  4. Select Add languages in the top-right corner.

  5. Search for the language you want to add. Select the checkbox for the language and click Add.

  6. Select ... next to the language you want to use as default.

  7. Select Display Microsoft Edge in this language.

  8. Click Restart to close and relaunch the browser.

Optionally, remove languages you no longer need by selecting ... next to the language and choosing “Remove.”

Safari

  1. Open the Apple menu.

  2. Select System Settings.

  3. Click General in the sidebar.

  4. Click Language & Region on the right.

  5. Under Preferred Languages, click Add a language.

  6. Select a language from the list and click Add.

  7. Drag the language to the top of the list.

  8. Restart your Mac.

Firefox

Windows:

  1. In Firefox’s Tools menu, select Settings.

Mac:

  1. In the Firefox menu (upper right) select Settings.

Then…

  1. On the General tab, scroll down to Language and Appearance.

  2. In the Language section’s “Choose your preferred language for displaying pages” item, Click Choose… to select your preferred language. In the list that appears, click “Move Up” or “Move Down” to position your preferred language at the top. (If your language is not listed, click “Select a language to add…” to browse the languages list and add yours.)

  3. Close and restart Firefox.
