Use artwork to enrich your listeners’ experience while interacting with your podcast. Good artwork gives your audience a quick first impression of your podcast’s tone and content in players, directories, and podcast platform promotional content.

You can add, replace, or delete artwork for your program, playlists, and clips:

  • Artwork: This is the conventional 1:1 aspect ratio that all podcast platforms support.

  • Artwork (16:9): Some podcast platforms that play video also support 16:9 artwork. You can add 16:9 artwork to video clips, and to playlists and programs that contain video clips.

Artwork Support

Omny players support all program, playlist, or clip artwork to give your audience a rich, interactive experience. Other podcast platforms might not support artwork as consistently:

  • If clip artwork is present, the platform’s player usually overrides program artwork for that episode.

  • If a platform doesn’t support clip artwork, it usually falls back to the program artwork.

All podcast platforms recommend artwork with a 1:1 aspect ratio for both audio and video. Some podcast platforms also support artwork with a 16:9 ratio for video podcasts. For details, see Omny Studio Supported Formats.
