You can add, replace, or delete artwork for your program, playlists, clips, and clip chapters. Use artwork to enrich your listeners’ experience while interacting with your podcast. Omny Studio and most other podcast platforms support artwork.
Guidelines for Artwork
Artwork is in the form of a graphics image that you upload into Omny Studio:
Use JPEG or PNG format.
Use a 1:1 (square) aspect ratio.
For program, playlist and clip artwork, use high-resolution images of 3000 x 3000 pixels.
For chapter artwork, use images of 600 x 600 pixels. Omny Studio scales larger images down to this size.
You can add your program’s name to the artwork but avoid adding other text like marketing copy or promotional content. This might interfere with the text and graphical elements in podcast listening platform’s user interface.
There is no file size limit to artwork. But keep in mind that artwork, especially for chapters, can affect your bandwidth costs.
How Omny Studio Uses Your Artwork
You can provide different artwork for a program, playlist, clip, and chapter. Omny follows industry conventions to link to or embed this artwork: RSS, Simple Chapters, and ID3 tags. The artwork that Omny uses to link or embed depends on what you provide.

Artwork Support
Omny players support all program, playlist, clip, and chapter art to give your listeners a rich, interactive experience. Other podcast platforms might not support artwork as consistently:
If clip art is present, the platform’s player usually overrides program art for that episode.
If chapter art is present, the platform’s player usually overrides the clip art during that chapter.
If a platform doesn’t support clip or chapter art, it usually falls back to the program art.
Program Artwork
Go to your program then select Program settings.
In Artwork, add, replace, or delete the program’s artwork.
Select Save changes.
Playlist Artwork
Go to your program, select Playlists to choose the playlist.
Select the playlist’s options menu to choose Edit details.
Select the Details tab.
In Artwork, add, replace, or delete the playlist’s artwork.
Select Save changes.
Clip Artwork
Go to your program, select Clips to choose the clip.
Select the clip’s options menu to choose Edit details.
Select the Details tab.
In Artwork, add, replace, or delete the clip’s artwork.
Select Save changes.

Podcast platforms support chapter artwork in different ways:
All Omny Studio players support chapter artwork by showing the artwork as the listener navigates through chapters.
The Apple Podcast app also shows chapter artwork.
Some podcast platforms don’t support chapter artwork.
